KELLI CARZA: DIRECTOR, CERTIFIED PLAY THERAPIST & COUNSELLOR

As a certified Child-Centered and Humanistic Play Therapist, Counsellor, and Parenting Coach, I have dedicated my career to supporting children and families in Hervey Bay & Maryborough. My background in psychology has deepened my understanding of the emotional and social dynamics at play in childhood development, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each child and family.

Growing up in Hervey Bay, I’ve spent the past decade immersing myself in various roles, including play therapist, counsellor, allied health assistant, and intake officer. My passion for the power of play and creativity in fostering a healthy childhood drives my work. Throughout my journey, I’ve gained invaluable experience that informs my practice and approach.

I specialise in emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, parenting hurdles, attachment repair, and neurodiversity. My mission is to help parents navigate the complexities of their children's worlds while strengthening family bonds through connection, creativity, curiosity, and play. 

At the heart of my practice is a genuine commitment to my clients. I provide a judgment-free, supportive space where you and your family's needs are prioritized. I aim to create a nurturing environment where both children and caregivers feel safe, respected, and empowered to reach their goals.

I firmly believe in the potential for remarkable change within everyone. My passion lies in delivering evidence-based interventions designed to enhance the lives of children and families, yielding measurable positive outcomes. 

I am a proud member of the Play Therapy Practitioners Association (PTPA), Australia Counselling Association (M.A.C.A) and I maintain professional liability insurance. I regularly engage in clinical supervision and professional development to ensure that I provide the highest standard of care.
