Child-Centered Play Therapy is a specialised form of counselling uniquely suited for children. Our focus is on assisting children and adolescents with a range of issues, such as emotional regulation, behavioral difficulties, developmental challenges, social skills, anxiety, and depression. We create a secure environment where your child can express themselves, process their experiences, and gain insight into their emotions, ultimately fostering the skills needed to communicate their feelings and build positive relationships with others.
Our skilled therapist creates a secure and nurturing environment for families to discuss their issues and strive for constructive transformation. We provide a range of services, such as individual and family therapy, parent coaching, and additional support. As seasoned NDIS providers, we employ evidence-based strategies to assist children and families in developing resilience and enhancing their overall well-being through improved relationships and attachment.
We provide parent coaching services aimed at enhancing relationships, fostering effective communication, and delivering emotional and behavioral support for children. Our therapist is dedicated to offering tailored assistance to help you manage the challenges of parenting. We supply practical insights, coaching, and guidance to help you comprehend your child's experiences, emotions, and behaviors, while equipping you with the skills and strategies necessary to promote your child's development.
We provide workshops and training sessions covering a range of subjects pertaining to family and mental health. Our tailored programs are designed for schools, organisations, and individuals, aiming to enhance mental health and well-being within the community. We invite you to participate in our collaborative setting to develop skills in parenting, emotional regulation, social interaction, and additional areas.
We provide a range of group therapy options tailored for children, caregivers, and families. These group sessions facilitate the development of essential social and emotional skills in children by creating an environment where they can engage with peers who have similar needs and interests. Additionally, parenting groups present an excellent opportunity to connect with others who share similar values, increase confidence, improve parenting techniques, and access valuable resources.
We recognise that obtaining therapy services can pose challenges; therefore, we provide online sessions. These sessions allow individuals and couples to engage in therapy from the comfort of their homes at a time that suits their schedules, facilitated by our user-friendly scheduling platform. However, please note that we do not offer online sessions for children under the age of 13.
We understand that seeking help can feel challenging. We are proud to provide a welcoming and safe space for you and your child to receive tailored support.
Once we have established an understanding of your concerns, you’ll learn practical techniques and strategies to use in everyday life to manage issues as they arise. Your child's sessions will focus on the here and now, with background exploration where relevant.
We will work with you and your child to assess support requirements to help you overcome or manage your difficulties more effectively and achieve your goals for therapy.
We employ treatment approaches backed by scientific research and conclusively shown to be effective.
